The route

  1. Walk west through the park to Edensor and take the bridleway that climbs behind the village.
  2. Cross Calton Pastures on the well-signed track, dropping to Bakewell via Ballcross Farm.
  3. Explore Bakewell, then return by the signed path through the woods and back into the park at Edensor.
