The gritstone edges north of Baslow give the widest views in the area, including the whole of Chatsworth park below. Wellington's Monument and the Eagle Stone are on Baslow Edge; Curbar Edge has the climbers' crags.

The route
- From Curbar Gap car park take the track south-west onto Baslow Edge to Wellington's Monument and the Eagle Stone.
- Return to the gap and follow the edge path north along Curbar Edge as far as you like.
- Come back along the lower path below the edge.
